• C-Tag™ technology overcomes the limitations of traditional Real-time PCR with a restriction on the number of analyses per fluorescence channel, allowing the analysis of four or more targets per fluorescence channel, depending on the type of probes (fluorescent).

Principle of Action

C-Tag primers, a proprietary GeneMatrix primer technology integrated with EnCleap™ and TriO™ technologies, bind to the specific target for gene amplification. After gene amplification, the formed C-Tag sequences combine with an Artificial Probe that allows selective temperature control, generating fluorescence melting (Melt Tm) signals for each target. Moreover, the ability to freely adjust the temperature with an Artificial Probe enables simultaneous analysis of multiple pathogens in a single fluorescence.
